COVID GUIDANCE

If you are feeling unwell or displaying any symptoms of COVID-19 on the day or leading up to your appointment please cancel and I will be happy to rearrange.

Please attend your appointment on time, if you are early you will be asked to wait in your car until your appointment time.

When entering the premises please use the hand sanitiser provided at the entrance.

Please attend your appointment alone.

No children.

Government guidelines state face coverings must be worn at all times whilst in the salon unless treatments permit them to be removed.

We will be following all covid safe protocols in the cabin to keep us all safe.

REFUND POLICY:

Please note that we do not offer refunds on any treatments received or products opened after purchase. If you change your mind about a purchased treatment within 30 days and no sessions have been redeemed, we are happy to exchange it for another treatment or product or offer you a credit note (to be redeemed within 6 months).

​Should a permanent change in a client’s health prevent them from completing a course of treatments that have already be purchased then a reduced refund will be granted with a deduction of the already redeemed treatments (said deduction is to be decided by the management). This is providing suitable medical evidence can be provided which will be treated as highly confidential.

 

 BEHAVIOUR POLICY:

Should a client’s behaviour be deemed unacceptable (for whatever reason) by a member of staff we reserve the right to refuse to continue the treatment and to cancel further bookings.

Should the client have purchased a course of treatments we shall refund the remainder of the course value with deductions of the sessions already redeemed at their single treatment price within 28 days.

The staff at Studio 1807 will refuse treatments to any clients who are disruptive and obviously under the influence of alcohol or drugs. (This does not include clients who are receiving prescribed medication).

Children are not to be left unattended within the building and are to remain outside the treatment room whilst laser treatments are in session. We strongly advise children do not attend appointments.

 

 CANCELLATION POLICY:

A session will be redeemed or a charge of 50% of the treatment cost will be applicable for candidates who do not provide 24 hours’ notice of cancellation. Depending on whether you are on a course of treatments or purchasing a single session:

If you give 24 hours’ notice no penalty will be incurred.

If you cancel less than 24 hours or do not show up for your booked appointment, then you will lose that session.

 

 

 

LIABILITY POLICY:

Studio1807  will not be liable in contract, tort or otherwise for any economic loss (including, without limitation, loss of profit), or for any other special, indirect or consequential loss or damage arising out of, or in connection with, its provision of any goods and/or services to the client.

It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that he/she provide us with all relevant medical details prior to each treatment. We will not be liable for any damage that occurs as a result of the client’s failure to disclose such details.

Please be aware we are unable to carry out any treatments on an area that has a visible outbreak of any contagious skin infections such as, and not limited to, Herpes. You must wait until the infection has completely cleared before treatments can be resumed. Studio1807  will not be held liable for missed treatments due to skin infections.

The client agrees to comply with all instructions and/or recommendations given to them by, or on behalf of, Studio1807 regarding the pre and post care of a treated area.

Studio1807 cannot be held responsible for missed treatments due to clients not adhering to pre/post treatment advice.

If an area has not been adequately shaved prior to a treatment it is at the practitioner’s discretion as to whether the treatment can be carried out.

Please be advised makeup, deodorant, perfume and oil-based products must be removed before treatment. Practitioners will cleanse the area however we cannot be held responsible for all of the above products that may lay dormant in the skin pores and can cause an adverse reaction.

 

 LASER TREATMENTS:

The only scientifically proven method of permanent hair removal is electrolysis. Laser Hair Removal is scientifically proven to be up to 95% effective in long term hair removal.

You agree to attend appointments at the intervals recommended by the practitioner, should you not adhere to this Studio1807 cannot be held responsible for a negative treatment outcome.

Hair growth cycles differ from person to person and from body area to body area, optimum results are achieved when hairs are treated whilst they are in their growth cycle known as anagen. It is important that clients are educated in the fact that not all hairs grow at the same rate thus hair removal results can vary on the same area and multiple areas.

We advise all our clients that they may need top up treatments every 6 -18 months.

Everyone’s physiology and endocrine system is unique therefore we at Studio1807 cannot commit ourselves to predicting how many sessions one will need to remove the hair long term. There are a variety of factors which can influence the outcome of a laser hair removal treatment / course of treatments.

Laser Tattoo Removal is dependent on how efficient one’s immune system functions as the fragmented ink is processed by the immune system cells and filtered via the kidneys.

Everyone’s physiology is unique therefore we at Studio1807 cannot commit ourselves to predicting how many sessions one will need to remove the said tattoo. There are a variety of factors which can influence the outcome of laser tattoo removal treatments

We aim to provide the best possible service and care to you when delivering a consultation or treatment.

In the event that you are unhappy with any aspect of the service provided, you should speak to the appropriate member of staff as soon as possible.
